Five Favourites: Soap and Glory.

Hi guys and gals! You might remember how this time last week I shared with you some of my favourite, affordable make up brands. And you might also remember how Soap and Glory nabbed itself a spot on the list. Well, today I decided to focus solely on Soap and Glory in the start of a new series here on my blog!

No clues for guessing what this series is going to be about. #FiveFavourites is going to do exactly what it says on the tin (unless I am really stuck than you might get 6, but #SixFavourites isn’t quite as catchy). I am going to be sharing my five favourite products from different brands. So let’s get stuck into brand number one, because this is going to be tough, I present to you my #FiveFavourites from Soap and Glory.

Face, Soap and Clarity (£8.00)

First up has to be ‘Face, Soap and Clarity’. This used to be my daily facial wash and I loved it (in fact, I loved it so much I am not sure why I don’t use it anymore). It’s a 3-in-1 vitamin C facial wash with really gentle, jojoba scrub-beads. It’s packed full of different vitamins, minerals, amino acids as well as Soap & Glory’s exclusive Superfruit Yuzu complex (nope, I’ve got no idea either). This product comes in at £8 and lasts for ages. For the price, I don’t think you can get a better facial wash on the high street. It kept my skin clean and clear throughout my teen years without leaving me with any dryness. It is the perfect lazy girl face wash as it cleans and purifies skin whilst also exfoliating and effortlessly removes make-up, and gently exfoliates – winning!

Sugar Crush Body Wash (£6.50)

Soap and Glory have a load of different scented body washes, but this one is my absolute favourite. I remember when it came out I was truly obsessed with everything ‘sugar crush’. It’s the one with the zesty lemon and lime scent and it smells delicious – kind of like a fruity yet creamy cake batter. All the Soap and Glory body washes last for approximately 6 million years, so although £6.50 is a little steeper that your Imperial Leathers of the world, I definitely think it is worth it. I also got some of the Sugar Crush Body Wash in little one time use pods so I literally take this product with me whenever I am travelling. It is such a nourishing and energising formula and scent – the perfect summer time body wash.

Make Yourself Youthful Rejuvenating Eye Cream (£14.00)

Next up is a product that I really don’t think gets given enough credit. The Make Yourself Youthful Rejuvenating eye cream is such a light weight, yet moisturising formula and works wonders on my sleep deprived under eyes. I’m not going to lie to you and say this miraculously made my dark circles vanish, but I really do think it helps to even out my under eye pigmentation and help brighten up the under eye area. It’s also anti-ageing, which may seem a little premature, but it is ever to early to start protecting your skin – particularly the eye area! I’ve just checked and I have ran out of this product so it will definitely be going on my shopping list.

I am a flaky/dry skin sufferer- my elbows, my knees, my legs, that flabby bit at the back of your arms that wobbles when I clap. Everywhere! This scrub is an absolute life saver. Like the face scrub, it does what it says on the tin (well, tub) without causing any irritation due to the perfect ration of foamy deliciousness to scrubbing beads. It smells divine as well. You know that signature Soap and Glory scent? Yep, it smells like that. Super affordable and super effective. 10/10 would recommend.
Last but not least, it wouldn’t be a Soap and Glory favourites post without this guy! The Righteous Butter is without a doubt one of my absolute favourite body butters – there really is no wonder that this beauty is award winning. It’s packed with shea butter and aloe vera, which work wonders on dry skin, and leaves your whole body feeling silky smooth and nourished. Just like The Scrub Of Your Life, The Righteous Butter is scented with the original pink fragrance. An OG but a goldie.
So there you have it, my #FiveFavourites from one of my favourite high street brands. Did your favourite make it on the list? If not, what would your top 5 have been? Loved writing this post so expect plenty more of these in the future – any brand requests, let me know in the comments below.

I’ve been meaning to try the Sugar Crush stuff as the scent is so good, but never been able to fully justify spending the money. I probably will now and those one-time pods sound amazing and definitely something I’d use.
