Yes, that’s right, I’m about to go all BuzzFeed on you are share my new favourite protein pancake recipes. I have been experimenting in the kitchen a little since exams have finished and these are two super easy recipes, perfect for breakfast or as a high protein snack throughout the day.
First up, Chocolate and Strawberry Protein Pancakes. (C: 33.8g P: 45.4g F: 14.3g)
- 1 banana (mashed)
- 2 eggs
- 1 scoop of MyProtein chocolate protein powder
Blend all that up to make a batter then heat up a bit of coconut oil and make yourself some pancakes! Then put some strawberries, natural yogurt and chocolate sauce on the top and you’re all done.
Next up is Blueberry and Vanilla Protein Pancakes. (C: 35g P: 37g F: 11g)
- 1 banana (mashed, again…)
- 2 eggs (starting to see a theme?)
- 1 scoop of MyProtein Vanilla Protein Powder
Blend all that together and add some blueberries and make your pancakes!
I then added natural yogurt and threw some blueberries and a bit of honey in the microwave to make a blueberry syrup.
These are super easy to make and really easy to add different flavours to, so experiment and see what you like! Just start with your banana and 2 eggs and throw in whatever takes your fancy. Next I am going to give white chocolate and raspberry a try. I’ll use MyProtein flavour drops and melt a white chocolate cookie grenade bar over the top. Who needs Nutella? I’m joking, I love you Nutella.
